"Invisible Ring-tailed Madagascar in Striped Pinafore"

Her grandfather called Anne "My Stevedore", a term of endearment that celebrates her seemingly boundless energy, her physical strength, and her gift of spurring others to attempt to live up to her high work standards.
I often tell people (bragging, really) how she can unload trucks with the best of them and often shames men into working harder so as to avoid being bested by her. Faint chance of that!
I frequently tell the story of how creative she was in her job hunting efforts--how she made a "penny pot" and used it as her
resume to get a job that didn't even exist until they saw her work. Very impressive! |
